Description

Payment mainly for fabrics and foods. Other items include train oil, furs, silver, gold dust, one anchor, beeswax, dye, truckage, and wharfage. One list is comprised of names of personnel, with individual trades, on Good Ship Samaritan sailing for Carolina March 25, 1742. Index on pg. 175. The following pages at the end reproduce a breaking of a business contract and a request for indenturing a boy from the almshouse.
