Black silk quilted women's jacket with lavender silk lining. Jacket has long sleeves with slightly puffed shoulders. There is no collar and at the back of the neckline there is a lavender loop sewn on. Both the interior and exterior are quilted in a pattern of small squares that are lightly padded. The front bottom edge come to a slight v-shape and is much lower than the bottom edge if the back, which has a straight across hem. There were six black silk covered buttons (one is missing) down the left edge of the front flap and the button loops are on the inside edge of the right side so that when buttoned, the buttons are not visible. Both sides of the opening have an outward curve to their hem.
