Description

Bandbox with lid. Scene of Holt's New Hotel in New York City which changed its name to United States Hotel in 1839. The hotel forms an allignment on three streets: Water, Pearl and Fulton; occupying the entire block. There is a scene of a porter wheeling baggage to a horse-drawn dray and at the end of the street is a sailing ship and a steamboat plying the river. Printed in brown,, green, white, grey and yellow on a blue ground.
