Series III, Papers of David Little (1760-1825), 1793-1816, undated, include letters received between 1793-1811, including a letter from a prisoner in Newburyport jail; general account books dating between 1802 and 1811; bills paid and summaries of household and business accounts (1803-1810 and undated), and petitions. Historical/Biographical Note

David Little was born in 1760 and died in 1825. He was married to Abigail Noyes (granddaughter of Moses Little) who was born in 1767 and died in 1842. He was a captain in the militia, held various town offices, served in the legislature, and was a large farmer and extensively interested in real estate in Newburyport and Newbury.
