Tall case clock

Description

Unsigned white painted face with pink roses at top and gold scrolling at corners. Roman numerals. Bonnet: Gallery (replaced) supported by two fluted columns in front with brass bases, capitals and brass stop fluting at bottom third. At back are two simple quarter-columns. Above fretwork (replaced) are three brass finials (replaced). Body: Two quarter-columns decorate either side of the door, which is inlaid with a hollow rectangle of lighter veneer. Base: Again, inlaid with a square of a lighter mahogany, and which is surrounded by a border of arrows and dentil work.
