Description

Card table. Rosewood, brass, ormolu. Two open lyres compose supports. Leaves have bowed fronts with recessed corners. Veneered rails with three ormolu mounts conform to shape of top. Lyre displays painted gilt foliage. Brass rods form "strings." Four saber legs terminate in brass lions head casters. Brass stringing forms panels on surfaces and edges of leaves. Hinged top swivels to expose well. Top surface lined in green baize.
