Description

A portrait of a well-dressed woman on a picnic in the country. She is wearing a black dress with white flowers and has a white cloth on her lap. She holds flowers in her hands as she looks directly at the viewer. The picnic basket sits at bottom right corner, a country road winds along the left side. Frame is gilded wood, with very curved and flowing carvings. Entire piece is in protective wood box, lined with red velevet, and a glass front.
