Description

Armorial porcelain octagonal dinner plate with blue and white enamel decoration comprising of a central scene of a bird and grasshopper perched in a flowering tree, framed by border of scrolls and butterflies and flowers. Top of rim features a coat-of-arms of a symmetrical scroll cartouche with four birds and a central smaller shield, above are foliate scrolls and a bird, below is a banner with a Latin inscription.
