Description

Creamware pitcher with bulbous body and strap handle, black transfer printed decoration on each side and under spout; depicting on one side two angels lifting George Washington into the heavens above a mourning Liberty and Native American figure; on the opposite are two female figures holding a plan of the city of Washington.
