Abstract
The lyceum movement is considered to be a true product of the New England mind, and in New England there is no lyceum which surpassed in success and prominence the Concord Lyceum. Alvah H. Low traces its history since its simple beginnings when it was conceived on Dec. 3, 1828, at a meeting at the "Centre brick school-house.
