Abstract
The doorways of East Lexington, Mass., are graced with an Asher Benjamin-inspired style. By working with his pattern books, the country carpenter found comfort in the celebrated architect's use of the Greek Revival style. This article takes a look at some of the doorways in East Lexington which owe their form to Benjamin's designs.
