I believe the photo you have listed as: "Interior photograph of the Weaver-Haviland House, East Greenwich, R.I.., Reference Code: PC002.USRI.East Greenwich.197.01," is actually the Weaver-Howland house located at: 125 Howland Rd., East Greenwich, RI. I'm basing that upon the fact that my wife and I lived there for 15 years. And I personally restored that incredible home. Historic New England happens to have an wonderful collection of photos and documents relating to the house at 125 Howland Rd. East Greenwich which I had the pleasure of combing through some 14 years ago.

Are you sure Weaver-Haviland is the correct name of this house. Isn't this the Weaver-Howland house?

Thanks for correcting this from Haviland to Howland.

About 14 or so years ago I had the opportunity of personally going through a rather large collection of photos, letters, sketches and other documentation that the former SPNEA had acquired regarding the Weaver-Howland home. I believe that most of which came from a Mrs. Howland. The house is located at 125 Howland Rd., East Greenwich, RI.

Both myself and a very large Weaver clan would very much enjoy the opportunity of seeing this collection. Is this something that can only be viewed at Historic New England, or are there online resources within your website that I have been unable to find? The Weavers who I know are scattered all over the country, and it would be difficult for many to get to Boston. I have been able to locate some documents and photos, mostly through the Library of Congress and local historical societies in Rhode Island. But I recall seeing many letters, and photos I've never seen anywhere else outside of your collection. Thank you.
