Description

The image verso reads "House demolished about 1918. Built about 1863 by James M. Beebe who died in 1875. His wife was Esther Beebe. Their son E. Pierson Beebe died in 1926 at the age of 80 and another son Frank H. died in 1932 at the age of 77. The father James M. was a wealthy dry goods merchant during the Civil War period in Boston. Info. from Mr. Arthur E. Marr."
