Printed on lining: Lion with unicorn with crowned oval medallion between them, with the phrase: ""HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE."" There is a ribbon sash below with ""DIEU ET MON DROIT."" Beneath the sash are 5 coins arranged in a row and overlapping. The coins indicate dates of exhibitions: ""PARIS 1855 & 1867;"" LONDON 1862;"" ""PHILADELPHIA 1876."" Followed by ""TRADEMARK."" Below the coins are banners, and below these banners is the following: ""PRIZE MEDALS AWARDED TO/TRESS & CO. LONDON/GOLD MEDAL PARIS 1878/ Manufactured expressly for/D.P. ISLEY & CO./ 385 Washington Street/(OPPOSITE FRANKLIN ST.)/ BOSTON.""
