Window Sash

Description

Window mounted with the exterior face showing on the wall of Darby Barn. Green. Includes frame, double-hung sash and shutters; ogee-molded architrave; cove-molded sill with flaring corners. Double-hung sash with eight panes each. Wide and deep muntins. Pair of louvered shutters with two sections of louvers separated by a stile. Hooks at the bottom of the inside. The cornice mounted over these has the same accession numbers (see W.S.A. correspondence referenced). The heavily-molded cornice has dentils surmounted by modillion blocks and then a heavy ogee molding.
