On the right hand side underneath the print, the story is printed as follows: ""En al momento en que Gessler a quien los vientos no pudieron sumergir puso pies en tierra firme, Guillelmo Tell le tiro una flecha que le hizo morir en el acto mismo, y por este medio de la libertad a su patria.""
