Description

Bright yellow silk taffeta; Bodice (A) - broad neckline trimmed with tulle and pleated with black velvet ribbon drawstring; also trimmed with yellow ruching at neck and short sleeves; 2 bands of pleated tulle at cuffs; sleeves and yoke trimmed with cream silk fringe; black velvet bow at each cuff; sharpley pointed at front and back; boned; laced front with original yellow silk lacing; inner waistband with hook and eye; lined with white cambric; Skirt (B) - matching skirt - smooth front, fullness at center back; hem - 2 rows of ruching and self ruffle with scalloped and pinked edge; pleated dust ruffle; hem stiffened with painted canvas/buckram?; on (one?) pair of ties inside to hold skirt fullness at back; pocket on right side; hook and eye closure at center back.
