Description

Ivory silk taffeta with coral silk taffeta and coral net trim; broad drawstring neckline trimmed with net, lace and 2 bands of coral velvet ribbon; coral silk collar with net overlay; and edged with leaf-patterned lace; capped sleeves with coral buckram "puff," net and lace; ivory piping at armscye; bodice is boned; lined with white polished linen; laced closure; skirt has extremely long train; seams trimmed with (vertical) bands of coral buckram ruching; scalloped edge of ivory taffeta (with lace leaf-patterned trim) is shorter, revealing coral taffeta, box pleated underskirt with band of white taffeta with 2 coral velvet bands applied at hem; underskirt of white cambric; skirt and hem stiffened with buckram interfacing; pleats at back with hook and eye closure.
