Description

Pair of black silk satin Oxford-style shoes. Gold leather and red velvet straps with black laces. Round pointed toe, round open throat, and 3" vamp. Sole has a narrow waist and continues along heel. 2-1/2" heel covered with red velvet. Shoes have a white lining.

By the middle of the 1920s, most women were wearing shorter skirts, which placed a greater emphasis on the stylishness of their shoes. These Oxford-style shoes, with their gold and red straps and red heels, were made to be noticed.
