A=Bodice; B=Skirt. A=Bodice - black velvet; scoop neckline; insert of black chiffon over taffeta, center front over hook & eye closure; appliqued beadwork around yoke ending in tassels. Short sleeves of ruched tulle oversilk; slightly pointed waist edged w/ pleated velvet; lined w/ black silk twill; boned darts & seams. Black grosgrain inner waistband; drawstring at neck. B=Skirt - 2 vertical bands of beadwork in front to knee; chenille fringe looped between beadwork & forming border above hem; slight train. Vertical tucks at waist on sides; hook & eye clsoure in back above 2 deep pleats; fully lined in black taffeta.
