Description

Tambour ladies writing desk. Mahogany and mahogany veneer primary wood; eastern white pine; curly-maple-veneer crossbanding, cherry sliding-lid supports and soft maple (one drawer bottom)secondary wood; ivory or bone keyhole inlay behind the rear edge of the writing flap; original brass handles on the sides of the upper and lower cases; other hardware is replaced. Rests on delicate legs with bellflower inlay that taper near the base .
