Description

Blue on white plaid silk; narrow band collar; 10 buttons down centerfront and bodice- top and bottom buttons are flat and silver; remaining are blue silk egg-shapes with band of metal around middle; piped armseye; dropped shoulders; princess seams in back; long sleeves with white lace ruffle at wrist; bosice lined with brown cotton twill; boned darts and seams; sleeves lined with glazed brown linen; skirt pleated to self waistband; pocket at right; hem bound with blue wool tape; fully lined with glazed brown linen; series of hooks and eyes in seams in lower half of skirt.
