Carved Rooster Silhouette

Description

Carved and painted silhouette of a rooster, made from one piece of wood. The silhouette is crude, with painted detail; for example, the legs were painted on a wedge-shaped area at the base. Traces of white and green paint remain on the body; there are traces of red paint around the comb and head; while the feet were picked out in yellow and black, green and brown. Iron pieces are embedded in one side of the rooster, when it was affixed to a support laterally. Two holes were drilled in the base, presumably also to display it on a surface.
