Description

A small head standing on squared base, all carved from one piece of wood (2 carvings were made from this piece of wood 1991.1649). Long face, prominant features, eyeballs colored to accentuate the eyes, mouth and nostrils are incised. Surfaces appear dark with age. Its eyes are brown and it has dark hair. Technique used was whittling- marks of a knife are quite apparent (NFL).
