Description

Gold bracelet with six oval medallions set with tintypes of Louis Agassiz, Alexander Dallas Bache, Benjamin Peirce, John Quincy Adams, Carl Freidrich Gauss, and John Adams. The reverse of each medallion is set with a lock of hair from each subject, except that of John Adams which came from the head of Daniel Webster instead.
