Wallpaper experts gather at Lyman Estate
April 12, 2013
Some of the most noted historic wallpaper professionals in the nation took part in a wallpaper roundtable at Historic New England’s Lyman Estate in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Representatives from Adelphi Paper Hangings; Cooper-Hewitt Museum; Historic New England; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the National Park Service joined Isabelle Dubois-Brinkmann, curator of the Musée du Papier Peint in Rixheim, France, for a series of discussions and presentations on using wallpaper in a historic setting, conservation issues and treatments, and reproducing original papers.
