Request for proposals: Roseland Cottage roof project

Historic New England is seeking qualified preservation firms to carry out this important work at Roseland Cottage. The scope includes replacement of the existing wood shingle roof and restoration of details of the 1880 interpretative period (includes the use of 6" clipped shingles, ridge boards, woven valleys and mitered hips), repairs to the cast stone chimney pots, and repairs and replication of decorative drops and finials. read more...
