Roof replaced at Casey Farm

Roof work on the farm house at Casey Farm.

Summer is always busy at Casey Farm. This year, in addition to summer camps and a Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) program, an ambitious project that addresses roof, siding, windows, doors, and electrical issues at the historic farm is well underway. Historic New England's property care team recently replaced the roof of the 1750 farm house. Next on the list is preservation of the house's west façade.

This important preservation effort is partially funded by a grant from the Champlin Foundations. Please consider supporting our work and our ability to match grants like those secured from the Champlin Foundations by donating to the Preservation Maintenance Fund.
