Share your story at Beacon Hill Block Party

Charles Street

Historic New England's Otis House Museum and the Vilna Shul will capture oral histories and stories about life on Beacon Hill at the Beacon Hill Civic Association's neighborhood Block Party this Sunday, September 19, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. as part of Historic New England's centennial celebration. This 100 Years, 100 Communities project aims to preserve the past 100 years and the rich history of Beacon Hill.

We hope to hear from a variety of people - those who grew up on the hill, worked at a shop on Charles Street, cleaned houses on Mount Vernon Street, or attended Suffolk University. Please join us at the Beacon Hill Block Party on Mount Vernon and Charles Streets for "walk-in" interviews. Look for the Historic New England booth. We look forward to hearing your story.
