National Honor Society students assist with fall clean-up
November 24, 2010
Continuing a long-standing tradition, thirty Woodstock Academy National Honor Society students crossed the town Common on November 23 to assist with the fall leaf clean-up at Roseland Cottage. Armed with rakes, gloves and tarps, the students helped rake leaves from nearly every inch of the landscape, from under the iconic Gothic-style fence to between the narrow paths of the boxwood parterre.
This work day is part of the students' community service requirement and is one of the many times during the year that they volunteer at Roseland Cottage.
Thanks to the students' hard work and dedication, the grounds of Roseland Cottage are in good shape for the winter.
