Window conservation grant for Beauport
![]()
Gloucester City Council voted unanimously to appropriate $25,000 from Citizens of Gloucester through the Community Preservation Act to provide professional conservation care for the remaining windows at Beauport, Sleeper-McCann House. The grant matches previously secured Save America’s Treasures funds to create a $50,000 project. Approximately two hundred windows have already been conserved, with only forty-nine more to go. Learn more about this project at the Beauport Blog.
Please consider donating towards the Preservation Maintenance Fund and support ongoing work at Beauport and projects at the other sites.
