Local eighth graders visit Langdon House

May 13, 2011

Portsmouth Community Service Day

As part of a community service and outreach day, fifty-six eighth grade students from Portsmouth Middle School visited the Gov. John Langdon House in Portsmouth, N.H., for a picnic lunch in the garden and a tour of the house.

The students spent a beautiful spring day exploring the city, visiting City Hall and a local retirement home, and looking at the street art pieces installed as part of Street a.k.a. Museum, an exhibition of the Portsmouth Museum of Art.  Many thanks to social studies teacher Phil Davis for organizing the trip.
