Historic New England receives grant to support school programs at Arnold House

March 2, 2013

Arnold House

Historic New England received $9,100 from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities to support increased access to the Colonial Times education program at Arnold House.

During the program, students learn what early American life was like through a series of hands-on activities and then a field trip to the historic Arnold House. The program provides students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in early local history in an authentic seventeenth-century setting.
