Historic New England celebrated at Rhode Island gallery
On Sunday, July 11, 150 guests joined William and Alison Vareika at an opening reception for their new art exhibition Historic New England, featuring works by artists from Gilbert Stuart to Andy Warhol that examine a wide range of New England subjects. Hosted at the William Vareika Fine Arts gallery in Newport, Rhode Island, Historic New England presents oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, prints, photographs, and sculptures from 1730 to 1980. The exhibition runs from July 12 to November 14, and a portion of all proceeds will benefit Historic New England.
