Casey Farm Community Supported Agriculture program begins

The growing season kicked off June 8 as Casey Farm harvesters supplied Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) members with an array of produce. The season's first pickup included head lettuce, mixed greens, arugula, spicy mustard greens, spinach, Swiss chard, kale, broccoli rabe, sweet Hakurai turnips, radishes, spring garlic, leeks, scallions, and sunflower sprouts.
Families joined together to pick their own fresh herbs from the garden and delicious strawberries from the field. With 165 members, this year's Casey Farm CSA program is filled to capacity.
