Historic New England makes Salem a little greener
For the past two years the Phillips House Museum in Salem, Massachusetts, has received an honorable mention in the Green Salem Business Challenge. The museum staff continues to encourage green practices both in the museum and in the wider community. In a recent newsletter to the tourism community, Site Manager Julie Arrison encouraged colleagues to “learn the easy ways that you can be a greener organization in 2013." The Green Salem Business Challenge is one of a number of initiatives encouraging Salem
businesses and residents to be environmentally
friendly.
