Historic New England offers Community Preservation grants for Affiliate members
February 9, 2011
Historic New England is pleased to offer $1,000 project-based Community Preservation grants to one Affiliate member in each of the six New England states. When founding Historic New England in 1910, William Sumner Appleton conceived of "state accounts" to support preservation projects in each state.
The Community Preservation grants carry on this tradition and allow Historic New England to work with organizations on preservation projects that benefit the entire region.
Historic New England Affiliate members are encouraged to apply. Application materials must be received by April 27, 2012, at:
Office of the President
Historic New England
141 Cambridge Street
Boston, Mass. 02114-2702
Affiliate members can download the application here. The application is a Word document. All applications must be signed by the organization's director or a board member and mailed.
