Jennifer Kent appointed Vice President for Advancement
Boston –– Historic New England is pleased to announce that Jennifer Kent was recently appointed Vice President for Advancement.
Working closely with the Historic New England President and CEO, Board of Trustees, and development committees, Kent will serve as the key leader for development strategy and operations to ensure continued success and long-term sustainability of the organization’s collections, programs, and public participation; its steady growth of audience and support; and its role as a leader among heritage organizations nationwide.
“I’m delighted by this opportunity to combine my fundraising and management experience with my passion for museums and education,” said Kent.
Kent will design and manage a comprehensive development program, ensuring implementation of timely cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies across all donor groups and meeting or exceeding annual and long-term development goals established by the Board of Trustees and President/CEO. She will manage a staff of ten.
