Historic New England presents Wild World of Wallpapers
BOSTON – Historic New England’s Otis House hosts Wild World of Wallpaper on Thursday, March 26, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
Stop by Historic New England's Otis House during Boston Design Week to explore three centuries of historic wallpaper. Historic New England's wallpaper collection ranges from very early imported items to William Morris designs to vinyl wallpapers from the mid-1960s. Enjoy a chance to see a select sampling of historic wallpapers and a display of wallpaper industry ephemera. Take a tour of Otis House that focuses on its wallpapers, and meet staff who worked on the extensive collection during a recent digitization project that resulted in online access to the largest wallpaper collection in New England.
