Welcoming the Public to Our Historic Properties
More than 170,000 people visited our thirty-six historic properties during Fiscal Year 2011 through tours, public programs, school and youth programs, and private events. On June 5, 2010, our Centennial Open House drew more than 3,500 visitors. It was the first time in Historic New England's hundred-year history that all properties were open at the same time.
At the Centennial Open House, we introduced the Passport to Historic New England (below) and invited our members to collect stamps as they visited our properties.
